Our last blog talked about how to maintain a positive work culture. One way we accomplish this is by having Dash – Macondo Networks’ mascot and “therapy dog” — visit the New Jersey office. While some people rely on a therapy peacock, Macondo relies on Dash, a 17-pound golden doodle. When things get busy or challenging at work, petting Dash is the perfect way to relax and take the edge off. When he’s not in his calming mode, he can be found eating anything and everything he finds on the ground, leaves, rocks and even phone parts.
Dash was born on April 23, 2017 and joined the Macondo family on June 22, 2017. He weighed 4 pounds at that time. When he is not at the office, Dash lives with his parents Jennifer and John Frey and brother Gavin.
Dash gets lots of attention at work and helps maintain a cheerful environment. You simply cannot help smile when you rub his belly or watch him “dash” full speed down the hallway. It’s impossible not to be happy when you are holding this furry little guy. After all, happiness is having a dog in the workplace!
